Dutton Ranch Train Station: Key Information and Details

Dutton Ranch, the new spinoff of Yellowstone, has a train station too! But unlike your average train station, this one is a bit more sinister. Actor Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, shared that the new burial ground for enemies on the show is actually crawling with rattlesnakes in real life.

The train station in Dutton Ranch made its debut last Friday on Paramount+ and Paramount Network. This drop spot for bodies is located in a mineshaft on a heavily guarded property that Rip stumbles upon in Episode 2. After a series of events involving a body that needed to be disposed of, Rip ends up using the mineshaft as a final resting place.

During filming, the snake wranglers on set caught a whopping 3,400 rattlesnakes over eight months, with one of the worst spots being the location of the train station. According to Hauser, they even had to scrap plans to film there at night due to the high number of snakes. Thankfully, no snakes were spotted during the actual train station scene in Dutton Ranch.

For fans of the Yellowstone universe, it’s clear that no character is safe from unexpected twists and turns. With Season 1 of Dutton Ranch in full swing, viewers can expect to see new villains and familiar faces from the franchise. So buckle up and get ready for more thrilling drama at Dutton Ranch!
