Hulu fans, get ready for a surprise treat! The streaming service just dropped a secret prequel episode of “The Bear” called “Gary.” This special episode follows Mikey and Richie on a work trip to Gary, Indiana, offering a closer look at their relationship before the events of the main series.
According to Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal, who co-wrote the episode, “Gary” provides new insights into the characters’ dynamics and mental states. Directed by Christopher Storer, this 59-minute episode adds emotional context to the story from the very beginning.
