In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bethel discussed how the intense fight sequence came together, showcasing Bullseye’s lethal precision and twisted sense of purpose.

Bethel shared that he knew early on in the shooting of season 2 that his character would have a more significant role. The standout moment for him was the diner scene in “Gloves Off,” where Bullseye takes on Kingpin’s Anti-Vigilante Task Force using everything from blades to a lobster claw found in the diner. The scene highlighted Bullseye’s unique approach to combat, focusing on precision and improvised weapons.

Speaking about Bullseye’s character development in the season, Bethel mentioned that despite being a ruthless killer, Bullseye sees himself as one of the “good guys.” This delusional mindset adds complexity to his persona, making him a captivating antagonist. Bethel emphasized the importance of capturing Bullseye’s murderous swagger and precision in every action-packed moment of the diner fight.

According to Bethel, the diner sequence required around 80 different setups to create an authentic and dynamic scene. The collaboration between the actor and the stunt team was crucial in bringing Bullseye’s lethal abilities to life on screen.
