Apple TV’s Dark Matter Season 2 Preview: A Sneak Peek

Apple TV has given viewers a sneak peek at the upcoming second season of Dark Matter, the popular sci-fi series that is scheduled to premiere later this summer.

The show, based on the best-selling book by author Blake Crouch, boasts an impressive ensemble cast with Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly leading the way. Alongside them are actors like Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Oakes Fegley, and Amanda Brugel.

Dark Matter, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, explores the concept of the road not taken, presenting a mind-bending narrative that resonates with viewers. Season one followed the story of Jason Dessen, a physicist and family man who finds himself in an alternate version of his life after being abducted on the streets of Chicago. Season two continues the journey of the Dessens as they navigate a seemingly safe world that turns volatile, forcing them to flee once more.

As the plot thickens, Jason’s obsession with the Box intensifies, while Daniela’s paranoia threatens their fragile stability. Amanda and Ryan band together to find their way home, with Blair and Leighton each pursuing their own agendas that promise to shake things up.

Produced by Sony Pictures Television, Dark Matter is helmed by Blake Crouch and a team of talented executive producers. In addition to their on-screen roles, Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly serve as executive producers for the show.

Mark your calendars for August 28th, when Dark Matter returns to Apple TV. For more sci-fi content and exclusive updates, stay tuned to SciFiNow.
