This series serves as a sequel to “Malcolm in the Middle,” which originally aired from 2000-2006. The new limited series is set to premiere on April 10 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S. and internationally on Disney+.

They are joined by new cast members, such as Keeley Karsten, Vaughan Murrae, Kiana Madeira, and Caleb Ellsworth-Clark.

The storyline follows Malcolm as he reunites with his family after a decade-long absence. The family dynamics are thrown back into the spotlight when Malcolm has to attend his parents’ 40th-anniversary party with his daughter in tow.

The limited series is a collaboration between 20th Television, Disney Television Studios, and New Regency. Linwood Boomer, the creator of the original series, is back as a writer and executive producer. Other executive producers include Cranston, Tracy Katsky Boomer, Gail Berman, and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan, Yariv Milchan, and Natalie Lehmann. Ken Kwapis directed all four episodes and also serves as an executive producer, with Jimmy Simons and Laura Delahaye as co-executive producers.

Fans of the original series are eagerly anticipating the return of this iconic show, ready to be swept back into the unconventional world of Malcolm and his family.
