Taylor Frankie Paul accused of domestic violence in recent incidents

An incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul, star of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” and her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen has recently come to light after a friend of Mortensen reported alleged domestic violence to authorities in Utah. According to a complaint filed with the Draper Police Department, the victim described two incidents of physical assault that took place between Feb. 22 and Feb. 23 at Paul’s residence in Draper. The victim reported being grabbed, scratched, shoved, and struck during the incidents, but was initially hesitant to come forward due to Paul’s high public profile.

In the police report, photos of scratches on the victim’s neck and a screenshot of a 911 call log were included as evidence. The case is currently under investigation, with no further details provided by representatives for Paul and Mortensen. While the report did not explicitly name Mortensen as the victim, there have been ongoing domestic violence investigations involving both Paul and Mortensen in Draper following the incidents.

In addition to the recent allegations, there was a separate open investigation into an incident involving Paul and Mortensen in West Jordan, Utah, dating back to 2024. The West Jordan Police Department is reviewing video evidence related to the 2024 event to gather more information. This is not the first time that Paul has been involved in legal trouble, as she previously faced charges in connection with a domestic violence incident in 2023, resulting in a guilty plea to an aggravated assault charge.

The recent allegations have led to a halt in filming for the upcoming season of “Mormon Wives,” with concerns raised by cast members regarding Paul’s behavior prior to the new domestic violence investigations. While Paul has yet to address the allegations directly, she stated on March 19 that she plans to share her side of the story. The situation continues to develop, with authorities continuing their investigations into the incidents involving Paul, Mortensen, and the allegations of domestic violence.
