Hannah Montana Anniversary Special: Songs, Guests, and Miley Cyrus

Put on your wig and grab all the accessories you can find because the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” is coming to Disney+ on March 24th! In this one-hour event, Miley Cyrus takes us back to Miley Stewart’s Malibu home, reunites with some Disney Channel favorites, and performs some of the iconic songs from the series that aired from 2006 to 2011.

“I didn’t want to do this modern approach to Hannah. I wanted to keep it preserved,” Cyrus shared in her interview with Variety. She mentioned that creating the anniversary special “felt like home again.”

During a taping of the special, Cyrus transformed into Hannah Montana on a stage reminiscent of the show’s title sequence. Dressed in a sparkling black outfit and sporting blond bangs like Hannah, she performed hit songs like “This Is the Life,” “The Climb,” and “The Best of Both Worlds.” Plus, she has a brand-new original song that will debut during the special.

Cyrus also revealed to Variety that she’ll be joined by some surprise guests in the special. Stay tuned to find out who else will be making an appearance alongside the iconic Hannah Montana!
