Maul – Shadow Lord trailer features Inquisitors on Disney+

Star Wars fans, get ready for the second trailer of Maul – Shadow Lord on Disney+! Following the exciting first trailer in January, this new series promises to bring us more of the dark and gritty side of the Star Wars universe that we love.

Set to debut on April 6, Maul – Shadow Lord will take us on a journey with Darth Maul post-Siege of Mandalore as he navigates the shadows and builds up his crime syndicate, Crimson Dawn. The show’s unique art style, which is a bit messier than previous Star Wars animated series, gives it a dark and almost Claymation-meets-live-action look that sets it apart.

With Sam Witwer leading the cast, the show promises to explore Maul’s darker side as he crosses paths with Jedi Padawan Devon Izara, played by Gideon Adlon. As Maul’s criminal spree unfolds, we’ll see Master Eeko-Dio Daki (played by Dennis Haysbert) and Captain Brander Lawson (played by Wagner Moura) take action to stop him before it’s too late.

Created and developed by Dave Filoni and Matt Michnovetz, with Brad Rau serving as supervising director, Maul – Shadow Lord is set to be a thrilling addition to the Star Wars universe. And with a two-episode premiere followed by weekly releases, we’ll have plenty of time to dive into Maul’s story and see where it takes us.
