Take a recent whirlwind day in Wilson’s life: on Monday, February 2, Australian time, she graced the Grammys red carpet in a stunning country-inspired ensemble. Not long after, her Instagram stories revealed she was chilling on a beach in New Zealand. “It was wild,” she recalls. “We had to leave the Grammys midway through the show to catch our flight to New Zealand. What a crazy 24 hours!”

With her Australian tour successfully wrapped—where she wowed crowds at arenas and headlined the Howlin’ Country festival in Newcastle, among other things—a new chapter is now at full throttle. Last week saw the release of “Reminders of Him,” a screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel and Wilson’s acting debut. Up next is a Netflix documentary, “Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool,” shedding light on her journey and her commitment to authenticity.

In late April, she’ll take the stage at California’s Stagecoach festival, often referred to as the “country Coachella,” drawing nearly 90,000 attendees per day.
