Aaron Pierre cast in ‘Man of Tomorrow’ movie, returning as ‘Lanterns’ character

Aaron Pierre is set to reprise his role as John Stewart in HBO’s upcoming Lanterns series and the Superman follow-up film, Man of Tomorrow. Alongside David Corenswet, Nicholas Hoult, and Lars Eidinger, Pierre will be part of an ensemble cast that promises an exciting storyline.

The Lanterns series is inspired by the Green Lantern Corps., an organization that protects different sectors of the universe. In this series, John Stewart is mentored by veteran Lantern Hal Jordan, played by Kyle Chandler, as they investigate a murder with far-reaching consequences.

The show features a talented cast, including Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, Ulrich Thomsen, and Nathan Fillion in various roles. Lanterns is set to premiere this August, giving audiences a glimpse into the world of Green Lanterns.

Man of Tomorrow, scheduled for release on July 9, 2027, promises an intriguing storyline with James Gunn at the helm. Gunn, who also directed Superman, is excited to explore the dynamic between Superman and Lex Luthor as they face off against the formidable Brainiac. This promises to be a thrilling addition to the DC universe.
