The Madison Reunites Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell After 40 Years
Almost 40 years after sharing the screen in “Tequila Sunrise,” Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell are back together in Taylor Sheridan’s latest series, “The Madison.” Pfeiffer and Sheridan were eager to bring Russell on board, so they filmed Season 2 early to make it happen. Fun fact: all of Russell’s scenes in Season 1 were actually shot during the production of Season 2.
When asked about their onscreen reunion, Pfeiffer gushed about working with Russell again, saying, “I would love to work with Kurt anytime.” Russell echoed her sentiment, reminiscing about the good times they had on set years ago.
“The Madison” delves into a powerful love story intertwined with a moving family drama centered on resilience and transformation. Set against the stunning backdrop of Montana and the bustling energy of Manhattan, the series explores the enduring bonds that keep families together in the face of unexpected challenges.
For Russell, it wasn’t just about reuniting with Pfeiffer that drew him to the project. He was captivated by Sheridan’s writing and the depth of the characters. With the release of Season 1 in two parts on March 14th and March 21st, viewers can look forward to a star-studded cast, including Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, and more.
