HBO Max Adds 12 New Releases This Week: The One to Watch

Exciting news for HBO Max subscribers this week! From March 8-14, 2026, the streaming platform is set to release 12 new TV shows and movies. One that stands out is the premiere of “Rooster,” a comedy series featuring stars like Steve Carell, John C. McGinley, and Charly Clive. Carell plays a college professor and author with a complex relationship with his daughter, portrayed by Clive, whose husband recently left her. The trailer promises laughs, and with writers from hit shows like Ted Lasso on board, it looks like a winner. Plus, Connie Britton from Friday Night Lights makes appearances, adding to the excitement.

If you’re not into “Rooster,” there are plenty of other options throughout the week. On Sunday, you can catch “Asia” from BBC or the 10th season of “Paranormal Caught on Camera.” Tuesday brings “120 Hours Behind Bars,” “Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare,” and “The Ultimate Baking Championship.” Thursday offers “Kevin Hart’s Muscle Car Crew,” “Save My Skin,” and “Work on the Wild Side.” And on Friday, you can look forward to “Diners Drive-Ins and Dives” season 53 and “Mira: Life After Divorce.” Last but not least, Saturday brings the 40th season of “The Kitchen” to Food Network.
