New HBO Max Dramedy “Rooster” Trailer with Steve Carell, Charly Clive & Phil Dunster
HBO recently dropped a new trailer for the upcoming dramedy series Rooster, and it looks like a real winner. The show stars Steve Carell, Charly Clive, Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, John C. McGinley, Lauren Tsai, Connie Britton, and Annie Mumolo. Created by Emmy-winner Bill Lawrence and co-creator Matt Tarses, the show follows the complicated relationship between an author (Carell) and his daughter (Clive) on a college campus.
In the trailer, we see Carell’s character, nicknamed Rooster by his students, trying to help his daughter navigate relationship problems after her husband leaves her for a graduate student. The show promises to be a mix of funny and charming, typical of Lawrence’s work and starring Carell.
