NES Experiences Highest Number of Outages Since Historic Ice Storm

Nashville Electric Service is currently dealing with power outages as storms with strong winds move through the area. As of 2 p.m. today, around 5,300 NES customers were without power, but that number has been decreasing. NES reported at 6 p.m. that only 700 customers were still affected, and by 8 p.m., only 100 customers remained without power.

This outage is the most significant since the ice storm in January that left 230,000 customers without power for an extended period. It’s always tough to deal with power outages, but NES is working hard to restore power as quickly as possible. Stay safe and be patient while they work to get everything back up and running smoothly.
