Disney+ Unveils Official MCU Timeline Update for 2026

The Marvel Studios timeline has been updated for the year, marking the first official update of 2026. Fans have long been meticulous about organizing the events within the MCU, and Disney+ has been a go-to source for an accurate timeline. However, some titles were missing due to streaming rights issues – until now. Spider-Man: No Way Home has finally been added, completing the full 37-movie MCU timeline for the first time.

In countries where No Way Home is available on Disney+, fans can now see the complete timeline, with the movie fitting in between Eternals and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Although the timeline is yet to be complete in the U.S. as the movie hasn’t been released on Disney+ stateside, its availability in other countries hints at an imminent U.S. release.

With Spider-Man: Brand New Day on the way, Marvel Studios has every reason to ensure the movie is accessible to fans in the U.S. The timeline’s significance may shift as upcoming movies like Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars introduce new heroes and potentially shake things up. As the MCU nears the end of its Multiverse Saga, completing the timeline in the U.S. could coincide with a major reset for the franchise.
