Zombies 5 Releasing on Disney+ and Disney Channel with Malachi Barton and Freya …

Ready for more zombies? Disney’s Zombies franchise is back with its fifth installment, and I couldn’t be more excited! The fun, high-spirited series is not only entertaining but also weaves in some surprising social commentary. After predicting that Malachi Barton and Freya Skye would take the lead in the franchise, I’m thrilled to see that Disney+ and Disney Channel are giving the green light to Zombies 5!

Fans of Zombies 4 will be delighted to know that Malachi Barton and Freya Skye are returning as Victor and Nova in Zombies 5. However, franchise stars Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly will be stepping away from the camera to serve as executive producers. And guess who’s back? Trevor Tordjman returns as Bucky, the lovable cheer captain and cousin of Addison from the original trilogy. Bucky may not be everyone’s favorite character at first, but he grows on you like a zombie virus spreading through your nervous system.

In Zombies 5, we can expect to see “the newfound peace between the Daywalkers and Vampires” being put to the test by a group of fierce mermaids who arrive in Rayburn. These mermaids bring their own wave of challenges and a compelling siren song that lures in new allies. Nova and Victor must join forces once again to uncover the true intentions of the mermaids and protect the harmony they’ve worked so hard to build. Mermaids in Zombies? Returning alongside Barton and Skye are Swayam Bhatia as Vera, Julian Lerner as Ray, and Mekonnen Knife as Vargas. Joining the cast are Diaana Babnicova, Taylor Oliver, and Olive Mortimer as the mysterious mermaids, along with Emily Costtrici as zombie Izzy and Dondraico Johnson as the choreographer for the dance sequences. With an original soundtrack by Tom Howe, Zombies 5 promises to take the franchise to the next level.

Disney, let’s chat about my paycheck because I think I deserve some credit. But for now, I’ll settle for watching Zombies 5 and getting lost in this musical adventure.
