Bridgerton Season 4 Premiere Boosts Streaming Ratings
Fans of “Bridgerton” were in for a treat with the release of season four, as the period drama topped the Nielsen streaming charts for the week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1. Despite a 19-month wait between seasons, the show brought in a whopping 3.03 billion minutes of viewing, which was a 10 percent increase from the previous season.
The latest season premiered with four new episodes on Jan. 29, attracting 2.24 billion minutes of viewing, making up 74 percent of the total weekly minutes for “Bridgerton.” The new episodes alone would have secured a comfortable lead for the week, proving the show’s enduring popularity.
In second place on the charts was “Stranger Things” with 1.3 billion minutes watched, showing strong viewership even a month after its series finale. HBO Max’s “The Pitt” hit a series high for the fourth consecutive week with 1.21 billion minutes.
Meanwhile, Prime Video’s “Fallout” experienced its best week of season two, accruing 1.1 billion minutes, a 35 percent increase from the previous week. Also making a strong debut was Marvel’s “Wonder Man” on Disney+, recording 618 million minutes of viewing.
These streaming numbers reflect the ongoing popularity of these top shows, with audiences eagerly engaging with fresh content and enjoying the latest offerings from their favorite streaming platforms.
