The Shapiro Administration has given the green light for the fifth and final season of the Paramount+ series “Mayor of Kingstown,” with $28 million in tax credits allocated for filming in Pittsburgh. This exciting news is projected to bring around $107 million in direct spending to the local economy, along with creating 1,749 jobs and utilizing 5,600 hotel nights.

Dawn Keezer, the executive director of the Pittsburgh Film Office, expressed her enthusiasm for the return of “Mayor of Kingstown” to the region in March.
