Brendan Fraser Rental Family Coming to Disney+ Next Week

Disney+ is bringing Brendan Fraser’s heartwarming comedy film, “Rental Family,” to its platform on February 18th. Despite just hitting theaters at the end of 2025, the movie is already making its way to streaming. Unlike Disney’s usual timeline for releasing theatrical films, they are moving quickly with their 20th Century and Searchlight productions.

In “Rental Family,” Fraser plays an actor who joins a rental family agency in Japan, taking on roles as a surrogate family member to strangers.
