Filmed at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago, Chris Fleming bursts onto the stage with a mix of engaging storytelling and wild physicality in his first HBO stand-up special. Known for his high-energy performances, Fleming seamlessly transitions from one everyday topic to the next – discussing everything from Trader Joe’s to Oreos, NPR, and different dog breeds. He keeps the audience laughing as he shares his humorous perspectives on masculinity, conga lines, and more. With a blend of relatable humor, dancing, and even a song or two, CHRIS FLEMING: LIVE AT THE PALACE promises an hour of refreshing and laugh-out-loud comedy.

Fleming himself is thrilled about the special, stating, “I hereby decree my first HBO special will soon be available for you to consume – please enjoy and feel free to dance along. Thank you and thank you HBO!!”

Nina Rosenstein, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming, Late Night & Specials, also shared her excitement: “Chris Fleming brings it full force to this special — once you’ve seen him, nothing else quite compares. His jokes are exquisitely precise, and his physical comedy is so borderline acrobatic that you discover something new to laugh at every time. Whether it’s a perfect impression of a crab walk or an intricate joke about Tillamook cheese, his work is a master class in and of itself.”

Written and performed by Chris Fleming, the special has an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Alex Bach, Daniel Powell, Molly Mandel, Olivia Doud, Conan O’Brien, and Jeff Ross. The special is directed by Bill Benz.

Fleming has solidified himself as a standout comedian, actor, and writer with his unique voice and performances. Recognized as one of the most distinctive performers today, he has been honored by The New York Times and featured in Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch and Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know. His debut stand-up special “Hell” is available to stream on Peacock, and he has appeared in various TV shows and films, showcasing his talent as a versatile performer.
