“Pitt Actors Who Have Achieved Success on Broadway and Beyond”

Patrick Ball, who plays Dr. Frank Langdon on The Pitt, is a talented theatre actor with an impressive resume. He has graced renowned stages across the U.S., including Shakespeare Theatre Company in D.C., TheaterWorks in Hartford, and the Old Globe in San Diego. Most recently, he took on the title role in Hamlet at Los Angeles’s Mark Taper Forum. This spring, he will make his Broadway debut in Gina Gionfriddo’s dark comedy Becky Shaw. Isa Briones, known for her role as Dr. Trinity Santos on The Pitt, comes from a family of musical theatre performers. In 2018, she made waves as the youngest member of the first national touring cast of Hamilton, playing Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds. She later made her Broadway debut in Hadestown in 2024. Sepideh Moafi, who joined The Pitt in season 2 as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi, brings a musical background to her acting career. A graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, she initially pursued opera singing before transitioning to TV and theatre. Moafi has appeared in Off-Broadway productions like One Thousand Nights and One Day and Corruption. This spring, she can be seen in Ella Hickson’s New Born alongside Hugh Jackman and Marianna Gailus. Tracy Icheafor, who portrayed Dr. Heather Collins in The Pitt’s first season, has a rich theatre history in England. She made her theatre debut in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s production of Noughts & Crosses in 2007, and has since taken on iconic roles like Rosalind in As You Like It and Beneatha in A Raisin in the Sun.

Supriya Ganesh, known for her role as Dr. Samira “Slo-Mo” Mohan on The Pitt, made her theatre debut in House of India at the Old Globe in 2025. She played Vaidehi, the daughter of the protagonist Ananya, in this heartwarming production set in a South Indian restaurant.

Amielynn Abellera, who plays Nurse Perlah Alawi on The Pitt, brings comedic relief to the show with her Tagalog banter. While she has not performed on a NYC stage, her West Coast theatre credits are extensive and impressive, including roles in Shakespearean productions like Hamlet and The Merchant of Venice.

Kristin Villanueva, who embodies Nurse Princess Dela Cruz on The Pitt, is a steady presence in the face of chaos. With a diverse resume of regional and NYC theatre work, including collaborations with renowned companies like Waterwell and Clubbed Thumb, Villanueva is a rising star in the theatre scene.

Noah Wyle, acclaimed for his role as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch on The Pitt, has captured hearts with his portrayal of the strong and integral character. While he has yet to appear on Broadway, Wyle has a longstanding relationship with the Blank Theatre in Los Angeles, where he has been involved in theatre productions in between his screen projects.
