Tara Lipinski Calls Out Castmates for Mispronouncing Her Name All Season

Tara Lipinski’s name seems to be a tricky one for her Traitors castmates on the Peacock competition series. Despite her efforts to correct them, many of her fellow stars have been calling her “TAIR-uh” instead of the correct pronunciation, “TAH-rah”. Tara even mentioned in a recent TikTok comment that she eventually gave up trying to correct them.

What makes this slip-up even more surprising is that Tara’s close friend and fellow figure skater, Johnny Weir, is also on the show. However, even with Johnny around, the rest of the Traitors cast still couldn’t get Tara’s name right. Tara did give Johnny credit for getting it right at least.

It’s interesting to note that Tara and Johnny deliberately tried to act like they barely knew each other while filming for The Traitors. This strategy was a surprise for many of their fellow competitors on the show, who were shocked to learn how close the two actually are once filming wrapped up. It seems that their friendship managed to fly under the radar for many of the other contestants.

Even though it might be common knowledge to some that Tara and Johnny are best friends, it turns out that not everyone caught on to their close bond. Their tight-knit friendship certainly caught some of their Traitors castmates off guard once they realized the truth after filming ended.
