With a bunch of awesome new Marvel and Star Wars content coming out this year, Disney Plus is the streaming service to have in 2026, and right now there’s a special deal for UK viewers that makes it a third cheaper!

If you’re a fan of The Mandalorian, Grogu, Maul – Shadow Lord, and VisionQuest, you’re in luck because all of these shows and movies will be available to stream on Disney+. Disney Plus offers a ton of great content for sci-fi fans, including Marvel, Star Wars, Paradise (season two starting February 23), every Predator release (like Badlands coming in March), Avatar movies (Fire and Ash later this year), Alien: Earth series, Alien movies, and much more.

In addition to the discounted Standard subscription (with ads), which is now £3.99 instead of £5.99 per month, there are also reduced prices for the ad-free Standard subscription (usually £9.99, now £6.99) and Premium subscription (usually £14.99, now £9.99).

For Marvel fans, the first new show dropping on Disney+ is Wonder Man on January 27, followed by season two of Daredevil: Born Again on March 4. Later in the year, we can look forward to VisionQuest and season two of X-Men ’97. Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31, with Avengers: Doomsday following on December 18.

While there’s a lot of Star Wars buzz this year, only The Mandalorian and Grogu movie (releasing on May 22) currently has a confirmed premiere date. On the small screen, expect Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, Ashoka season two, and Star Wars: Visions Presents – The Ninth Jedi, among other potential releases, all streaming on Disney+ in 2026.

Disney Plus boasts a massive library of content including everything Star Wars, the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Alien, Predator, Avatar franchises, The Walking Dead, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Futurama, and more.
