Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell star in Taylor Sheridan’s ‘The Madison’ teaser, set in Montana

Taylor Sheridan, known for his work on the hit show “Yellowstone,” is set to release a new spinoff called “The Madison.” The teaser trailer was recently unveiled by Paramount+, showcasing stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell in lead roles as Stacy and Preston Clyburn.

In this neo-Western series, the Clyburns leave New York City behind to start a new life in central Montana’s Madison River valley. The show promises to deliver a powerful narrative about love, family, resilience, and transformation.

The teaser gives a glimpse of emotional moments between the characters, with Pfeiffer’s Stacy expressing her inner struggles and Russell’s Preston contemplating life and memories. A scene also shows them bonding with on-screen brother Paul Clyburn, played by Matthew Fox.

Accompanying Pfeiffer and Russell are a talented cast that includes Will Arnett as therapist Phil Yorn, Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Alaina Pollack, Amiah Miller, Ben Schnetzer, Danielle Vasinova, and Kevin Zegers.

Scheduled to premiere on March 14, the first season of “The Madison” unfolds across two contrasting worlds – the beauty of Montana’s landscapes and the dynamic energy of Manhattan. The series is described as Taylor Sheridan’s most personal and heartfelt work to date, exploring themes of grief and human connection.

Fans of “Yellowstone” can also anticipate other spinoffs like “Marshals,” following Luke Grimes’ character Kayce Dutton, and “The Dutton Ranch” featuring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. Paramount is also working on more spinoff projects related to the “Yellowstone” universe, despite Sheridan’s departure from the network.

With its stellar cast, engaging storyline, and Taylor Sheridan’s creative vision, “The Madison” is set to be a captivating and emotionally resonant series that fans of compelling drama won’t want to miss.
