NAACP Image Awards Nominees Revealed

The NAACP recently revealed the nominees for the highly anticipated “57th NAACP Image Awards.” Stars like Cynthia Erivo, Doechii, Kendrick Lamar, Michael B. Jordan, and Teyana Taylor are all in the running for the prestigious Entertainer of the Year award. You can catch the live TV special on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 8 PM ET/ 8 PM PT on BET and CBS.

Leading the pack in the motion picture category is “Sinners,” with an impressive 18 nominations, followed closely by “Highest 2 Lowest” with nine nods. In the television realm, “Bel-Air” is leading with seven nominations, closely followed by “Abbott Elementary,” “Reasonable Doubt,” and “Ruth & Boaz,” each with six nominations.

Teyana Taylor is a standout with six total nominations across various categories, including her nomination for Entertainer of the Year. Cynthia Erivo is not far behind with four nominations, including recognition for her role in “Wicked: For Good.”

In the music recording categories, it’s Kendrick Lamar who reigns supreme with six nominations, followed by Cardi B., Leon Thomas, Doechii, and Teyana Taylor with multiple nods each.
