What to Watch This Week: 30+ Premieres and Finales

Looking for some new shows and movies to watch this week? Here’s a roundup of premieres and finales coming up in the next seven days so you can plan your viewing schedule accordingly.

On Sunday, January 11th, Prime Video is premiering Season 2 of “The Night Manager” with a three-episode release. If award shows are your thing, don’t miss the Golden Globes airing at 8 p.m. on CBS. PBS has new episodes of “Miss Scarlet” and “All Creatures Great and Small” premiering at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. respectively. Over on HBO, “Industry” Season 4 kicks off at 9 p.m. and Fox has “Fear Factor: House of Fear” at 8 p.m., hosted by Johnny Knoxville. Later in the night, Adult Swim presents “Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal” Season 3 at 11:30 p.m.

Moving on to Monday, January 12th, you can catch the Season 2 finale of “Here Come the Irish” on Peacock. Netflix premieres “One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5”, a behind-the-scenes look at the final season.

Tuesday, January 13th brings the two-episode premiere of “Tell Me Lies” Season 3 on Hulu and “Pole to Pole With Will Smith” at 9 p.m. on National Geographic. Also, “Best Medicine” and “Harlan Coben’s Final Twist” premiere on Fox at 8 p.m. A three-week event begins for “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” Season 6 reunion on Bravo at 8 p.m. And later at 10 p.m., History has the Season 2 finale of “Mysteries Unearthed With Danny Trejo.”

On Wednesday, January 14th, Apple TV premieres Season 2 of “Hijack” and concludes Season 2 of “Palm Royale.” BritBox brings us “Riot Women,” a two-episode premiere about five menopausal women forming a punk rock band. ABC airs “Dirty Talk: When Daytime Talk Shows Ruled TV” at 9 p.m. And on Peacock, catch “Love Island All Stars” at 9 p.m.

Thursday, January 15th sees the premiere of “Gangs of London” Season 3 on AMC+ and “PONIES” on Peacock. A three-episode binge of “Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials” hits Netflix and a two-episode premiere of “Star Trek: Starfleet Academy” arrives on Paramount+. Also, Netflix drops the final season of “The Upshaws” for binge-watching.

Finally, on Friday, January 16th, The Roku Channel offers the four-episode binge of “What Drives You With John Cena.” NBC has the returning show “Happy’s Place” at 8 p.m. and Starz wraps up “Power Book IV: Force” with its series finale at the same time. “Nowhere Man” makes its Stateside debut on Starz at 9:30 p.m. and there are several movie releases on various platforms to check out!
