American Nurses Association and HBO Honor Nurses and Healthcare Workers in Los Angeles
This past week, the American Nurses Association (ANA) had the opportunity to collaborate with HBO in Los Angeles to honor nurses and healthcare workers in anticipation of the Season 2 premiere of The Pitt on HBO Max. The Pitt continues to shine a light on the realities of modern healthcare and recognize the vital contributions of healthcare workers.
To celebrate, ANA and HBO organized breakfast appreciation events at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. These events were a way to express gratitude and give back to the hardworking nurses and healthcare professionals who devote themselves to caring for patients and communities.
Angela Beddoe, Chief Executive Officer of the American Nurses Enterprise, spoke about the importance of honoring the dedicated professionals who serve as the backbone of our healthcare system. She emphasized the impact that nurses and healthcare workers have on shaping the stories we see on screen and in communities nationwide.
These appreciation events highlighted a shared commitment to recognizing the nursing profession and amplifying the voices and experiences of those working on the front lines of care.
The American Nurses Association, representing over 5 million registered nurses, is a leading organization in advancing nursing excellence. By harnessing The Power of Nurses™, the association advocates for the profession, drives healthcare transformation, and empowers nurses through education, advocacy, and ethical standards.
