Netflix Assassin’s Creed adaptation announces new cast member
The cast for Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Assassin’s Creed is shaping up nicely, with Australian actress Tanzyn Crawford joining the crew. You may recognize Crawford from the upcoming Game of Thrones spin-off series, A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms. She’s set to be a series regular in the show, which delves into Ubisoft’s iconic franchise of hidden blades and daring assassins.
Deadline reports that Crawford will star alongside Toby Wallace, Lola Petticrew, Zachary Hart, and Laura Marcus, although the specifics of their roles are still a mystery—almost like they’re guarded by expert parkour artists. Filming is slated to start in 2026, with Italy as a prime location, a detail that Ezio Auditore fans are sure to appreciate. As of now, the time period and protagonist of the show remain tightly under wraps.
While we wait to uncover these mysteries, catch Crawford in action in A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms. The series, set to premiere on January 18 on HBO Max, follows the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (played by Peter Claffey), known as “Dunk,” and his squire Aegon Targaryen (played by Dexter Sol Ansell), known as “Egg.” Crawford takes on the role of Tanselle, a wandering puppeteer who crosses paths with Dunk and Egg on their epic journey.
