Assassin’s Creed Netflix Show Casts Toby Wallace

Netflix’s upcoming live-action adaptation of Assassin’s Creed has made its first big casting announcement, adding Toby Wallace (known for roles in Euphoria Season 3 and The Bikeriders) as a series regular. The show, developed in partnership with Ubisoft Film & Television, promises to be a thrilling ride, delving into a covert war between two mysterious factions—one bent on controlling humanity’s fate, and the other fighting for free will. Set against key historical moments, the series will follow characters as they strive to shape the future of humanity.

This exciting news comes on the heels of the series being officially greenlit back in July 2025. This adaptation is just the beginning of Netflix’s collaboration with Ubisoft, with more Assassin’s Creed projects in the pipeline. The show boasts an impressive creative team, including Emmy nominees Roberto Patino (known for work on DMZ, Westworld, and Sons of Anarchy) and David Wiener (of Halo, Homecoming, and The Killing fame) as creators, showrunners, and executive producers. The team at Ubisoft Film & Television, along with key executives, are also on board to ensure the success of this highly anticipated series.

In addition to Assassin’s Creed, Netflix is also home to the animated series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, which has been nominated for Best Video Game Adaptation at the 2025 Game Awards.
