Critics Choice Awards Winners List: Live Updates

One Battle After Another took home the top prize for Best Picture at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night. Paul Thomas Anderson also received accolades for Best Director for his film. Another big winner of the night was Sinners, which received four awards. This included Best Casting and Ensemble, a brand-new category this year that was awarded to Francine Maisle. Miles Caton of Sinners won Best Young Actor or Actress, Ryan Coogler received Best Original Screenplay, and Ludwig Göransson scored Best Score for the film.

In the acting categories, Timothée Chalamet was awarded Best Actor for Marty Supreme, while Jessie Buckley won Best Actress for Hamnet. Jacob Elordi took home Best Supporting Actor for Frankenstein, and Amy Madigan won Best Supporting Actress for Weapons.

On the television side, Sarah Snook of All Her Fault and Erin Doherty, Stephen Graham, and Owen Cooper of Adolescence were winners in the limited series acting categories. Adolescence also scored Best Limited Series. Jimmy Kimmel Live! was recognized as the Best Talk Show.

For drama series, Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa of The Pitt, Tramell Tillman of Severance, and Rhea Seehorn of Pluribus were the acting winners. The Studio was named the Best Comedy Series, with Seth Rogen, Ike Barinholtz, Jean Smart of Hacks, and Janelle James of Abbott Elementary taking home acting awards in the comedy series categories.

“Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters won Best Song, and the movie itself was awarded Best Animated Feature.

Chelsea Handler hosted the ceremony for the fourth consecutive year. New categories added this year included Best Variety Series, Stunt Design, and Sound in addition to Casting/Ensemble. The 31st Critics Choice Awards ceremony was broadcast live from Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar on E! and USA.
