New Teaser for “The Muppet Show” Special

Disney has just released a new 30-second trailer for “The Muppet Show,” marking the return of the beloved TV series with a special event set to premiere on February 4th on Disney+ and ABC. The iconic Muppet gang, including Kermit and Miss Piggy, will be back on stage at the original Muppet Theatre for a night of music, comedy, and plenty of chaos.

The special is directed by Alex Timbers and will feature pop princess Sabrina Carpenter as the very special guest star. Veteran Muppet performers like Bill Barretta, Dave Goelz, and Eric Jacobson will bring to life the majority of the iconic Muppet characters in this production.

Executive producers for the special include Carpenter, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg, among others. This one-off event precedes the 50th anniversary of the show on September 5th, and fans can catch up on all five seasons of the classic 1970s variety series on Disney+.
