First Look at Sabrina Carpenter & Seth Rogen in ‘The Muppet Show’

Get ready because ‘The Muppet Show’ is making a comeback! To celebrate its 50th anniversary since debuting in 1976, the show is returning for a special event on Feb. 4 on Disney+ and ABC. A new teaser just came out, giving us a sneak peek at special guest stars Sabrina Carpenter and Seth Rogen—who is also one of the executive producers.

Kermit the Frog kicks things off by welcoming us back to the iconic stage, reminiscing about how it all began, ended, and might just be starting all over again. The teaser features classic characters like Rowlf the Dog, Gonzo, the Swedish Chef, and Bunsen and Beaker, along with some hilarious interactions with Sabrina and Seth.

In one scene, Sabrina compliments Miss Piggy as an icon, to which Piggy humorously responds, urging her to continue the praise. Then, we see Sabrina getting into a little trouble by playfully hitting a Muppet, while Seth confides in Fozzy Bear about how much being on the show means to him, prompting a funny exchange about dreams.

For fans of the original series that aired from 1976 to 1981 and featured legendary musical guests like Elton John, Paul Simon, Diana Ross, Debbie Harry, and Gladys Knight, all five seasons are now available to stream on Disney+.

So mark your calendars for this exciting reunion of your favorite Muppet friends—who knows what kind of joyful chaos they’ll bring this time!
