WWE Library Moving to Netflix, YouTube, and Other Platforms

In the new year, fans looking for archival footage from WWE might find themselves navigating through different streaming services. Since TKO took over, WWE has signed numerous media rights deals, leaving fans eager for historical content with many questions.

Recent reports suggest that most of the WWE library will be leaving NBCUniversal’s Peacock streaming service by the end of the year. Users may have already noticed a 31-day countdown added to much of the WCW, ECW, and territories content on Peacock starting on Dec. 1.

Some of the shows and programs that were previously available on Peacock are now surfacing on WWE’s various YouTube channels. Additionally, Netflix has listed several one-off events in their “coming next week” lineup. Some of these events include the Greatest Royal Rumble, No Mercy 1999 (UK edition), Invasion, and more.

In a recent conference, TKO COO Mark Shapiro mentioned that WWE’s parent company is working on a non-exclusive deal for their library content, which they hope to announce in the first quarter of the new year.
