Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 5 Casts Classic Characters

Paramount+ has announced that two classic characters are set to appear in the upcoming finale of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The series, which is wrapping up with a six-episode fifth season, has cast Thomas Jane as Bones and Kai Murakami as Sulu, according to TV Line.

The show will lead fans right up to the moment when James T. Kirk takes the helm of the Starship Enterprise. It’s still unclear whether this iconic crew will reappear in a future Star Trek reboot, but fans can look forward to Anson Mount, Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Jess Bush, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, Melissa Navia, and Babs Olusanmokun starring alongside Paul Wesley as Kirk.
