MJF recently made it crystal clear – he’s the shining star of AEW and deserves to be the next world champion. Hailing from Plainview, Long Island, he surprised fans with a return on Dynamite in Manchester, England after a three-month hiatus. The crowd was abuzz as he jumped into the AEW Men’s World championship match at World’s End on Dec. 27 (8 p.m, HBO Max and Amazon Prime). It’s now turned into a four-way showdown between champion Samoa Joe and challengers “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland after MJF used the title shot he earned winning the Casino Gauntlet at All In. AEW has a clear path ahead with MJF leading the charge.
