Hulu Adds Iconic R-Rated Comedy from the 2000s: Sequel Rumors Swirl

The 2000s were a fantastic time for comedy, with movies like Napoleon Dynamite, Borat, and a whole lineup of R-rated and Judd Apatow-style comedy hits. One such classic is Superbad, featuring Jonah Hill and Michael Cera and now available for streaming on Hulu.

Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, this coming-of-age comedy follows two teenagers trying to throw a legendary party before heading off to college. With hilarious moments and authentic characters, it’s a true gem of a film that captures the awkwardness and humor of teenage life.

Despite its success and cult classic status, a sequel to Superbad has yet to materialize. Both Hill and Apatow have mentioned their interest, but for now, fans will have to settle for rewatching the original on Hulu.

If you’re looking for more laughs, Hulu has added other great films to its catalog in December, including classics like Gremlins, Night School, and 17 Again. And if you’re a Christmas movie fan, you’ll find the entire Home Alone franchise, The Santa Clause movies, and Disney’s A Christmas Carol ready to stream.

So grab some popcorn, settle in, and enjoy the comedy goodness that Hulu has to offer this month!
