Netflix Partners with Barstool Sports Founder Dave Portnoy for Podcasts
Netflix has recently signed a deal with Dave Portnoy’s Barstool Sports, giving viewers worldwide access to the “unfiltered commentary” of Barstool Sports‘ podcast hosts. The multiyear agreement grants Netflix exclusive rights to the video versions of three popular Barstool podcasts: “Pardon My Take,” “The Ryen Russillo Podcast,” and Spittin’ Chiclets.” These video episodes will be available on Netflix starting in early 2026. This means that from next year, full video episodes of these podcasts will no longer be on YouTube. Initially, Netflix will release them in the U.S. followed by other markets.
In addition to new episodes, the deal also includes select library episodes from each show. The audio versions of these podcasts will still be available on major platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
In a statement, Dave Portnoy, the founder, and owner of Barstool Sports expressed excitement about the partnership with Netflix and hopes to introduce new audiences to both platforms.
