Netflix and Barstool Sports Team Up for Video Podcast Partnership
Netflix and Barstool Sports have just announced an exciting partnership! In early 2026, Netflix subscribers in the U.S. will get access to the video versions of three popular sports podcasts from Barstool Sports. These podcasts include “Pardon My Take,” “The Ryen Russillo Show,” and “Spittin Chiclets.” Plus, they’re throwing in some select library episodes from each show too. Don’t worry, though, the audio versions of these podcasts will still be available wherever you typically listen to podcasts.
“We’re thrilled to team up with Netflix and hopefully introduce new audiences to both platforms,” said Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, in a recent statement. And Lauren Smith, VP of content licensing and programming strategy at Netflix, added, “This partnership is all about giving our members what they want: unfiltered commentary, sharp takes, and undeniable humor from Barstool’s sports voices.”
If you haven’t heard of them yet, “Pardon My Take” is Barstool’s top-ranked sports podcast hosted by Big Cat and PFT Commenter. They offer a unique blend of sharp sports commentary and fan-favorite segments. On “The Ryen Russillo Show,” host Ryen Russillo provides sports analysis and chats with some of the most interesting voices in sports today. And let’s not forget about “Spittin’ Chiclets” with Ryan Whitney, Paul Bissonnette, and Rear Admiral. They dive into the latest from the NHL and throw in some pop-culture insights too.
It’s clear that this partnership between Netflix and Barstool Sports is a win-win for both platforms and all of us who love engaging sports content!
