Drama is back in session in the upcoming season three of Tell Me Lies, where Lucy and Stephen have rekindled their rocky romance, much to the disapproval of those around them. Stephen grapples with the knowledge of Lucy’s past with Evan, while Lucy struggles with her own demons, as seen in the emotional trailer released on Dec. 17.

But the chaotic college sweethearts aren’t the only ones dealing with uncomfortable situations. Lucy’s friend Bree is still entangled in thoughts about her married professor, Oliver, despite his wife being aware of their affair from the previous season.

Fans of the TV drama, executive produced by Emma Roberts, can look forward to intense onscreen moments when the new season premieres on Jan. 13. Grace Van Patten, who plays Lucy, hinted at the season being wild, promising a peak of all the characters’ worst decisions.

In real life, Grace and Jackson are the complete opposite of their characters on the show. They confirmed their relationship in October 2022 and find it fun to act out the dramatic scenes on set, thanks to their strong bond and trust.
