Nielsen Report: The Roku Channel Outperforms Paramount+, Tubi, Peacock, and HBO Max in November U.S.

According to a recent report from Nielsen, The Roku Channel was the most popular free ad-supported streaming TV platform in American homes last November. With a market share of 2.9%, Roku outperformed other platforms like Paramount+ (2.3%), Tubi (2.1%), Peacock (1.9%), and HBO Max (1.3%).

Netflix (8.3%) and YouTube (12.9%) remained the top choices for streaming video on household TVs during that month. Additionally, The Roku Channel confirmed the renewal of the hit home improvement series, “Honest Renovations,” starring Jessica Alba and Lizzy Mathis, for a fourth season. In addition to that, they announced a new show called “NFL Hometown Eats” in partnership with Eva Longoria and NFL Films, set to debut in 2026.

Furthermore, fans can look forward to the road-trip comedy “Broad Trip,” featuring Sophia Bush and Lauren Holly, which is scheduled to premiere in May 2026. The Roku Channel continues to attract active users through discounted third-party subscription streaming video services. And with winter holiday promotions, SVOD services have seen a 32% growth year-over-year, with a 68% increase in promotional participation.

Roku’s holiday marketing strategy has been aimed at offering extended trials and discounted monthly rates to attract new subscribers through their platform.
