Courtney Love to share her life story in a revealing new documentary

Courtney Love, the iconic rock star and former frontwoman of Hole, is set to reveal her life story in a new documentary titled “Antiheroine” scheduled for release in 2026. This highly anticipated film has been secretly in the works for several years and follows Love as she relocates to London after a long period of living in the USA.

Known for her blend of punk and alternative rock with pop sensibilities, Love’s music with Hole has left a lasting impact on the music world with hits like “Doll Parts”, “Miss World” and “Celebrity Skin”. The documentary will feature insights from friends and collaborators such as REM’s Michael Stipe and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong, shedding light on her career and personal life, including her relationship with Kurt Cobain, the late frontman of Nirvana.

Directed by Edward Lovelace and James Hall of Dorothy St Pictures, the same production company behind the acclaimed Pamela Anderson documentary “Pamela, a Love Story”, the film promises an intimate and candid portrayal of Love’s journey. Despite previous hints at a memoir from Love, which has yet to materialize, “Antiheroine” marks her first major project in sharing her story with the world.
