Top TV Series of the Year: A Must-Watch!

Streaming entertainment options can be overwhelming with so many TV shows to choose from. So when a series manages to grab my attention and keep me hooked for an entire season, you know it’s something special. Here are my top TV picks that I couldn’t get enough of in 2025.

Kicking off the list at number five is “Paradise” on Hulu. With great performances from Sterling K. Brown, James Marsden, and more, season one of this show premiered in January. If you’re a fan of end-of-the-world conspiracies, this one’s definitely worth checking out!

Next up at number four is “Adolescence” on Netflix. This gripping series tells the story of a family torn apart when a 13-year-old boy is arrested for murdering a classmate. Owen Cooper and Stephen Graham deliver phenomenal performances that will leave you feeling for all the characters involved.

Coming in at number three is “The Bear: Season 4” on Hulu. As a fan of the show since season one, I was thrilled with the return to comedic form in season four. Episode 7, set at a wedding, is a standout moment of episodic TV that you won’t want to miss.

At number two, we have “IT: Welcome to Derry” on HBO. Despite my aversion to horror movies, this series about the origins of a child-killing clown managed to captivate me. With jump scares, character development, and a dash of Stephen King’s signature horror, this show is a must-watch.

And taking the top spot is “The Righteous Gemstones: Season 4” on HBO. I didn’t just watch season four – I binged all four seasons! This comedy following the Gemstone televangelist family is a wild ride of humor and stellar performances from Danny McBride, John Goodman, and Walton Goggins. It’s over-the-top, ridiculous, and absolutely hilarious.
