AMC Networks appoints Annie Luo as President of Streaming Growth
AMC Networks has appointed Annie Luo as its new President of Streaming Growth. In her role, Luo will focus on expanding AMC’s streaming services like AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, HIDIVE, Sundance Now, ALLBLK, and ALL REALITY. She will be in charge of developing and implementing AMC’s streaming strategy, including attracting and engaging subscribers, as well as overseeing commercial and programming initiatives. Based in New York, she will report directly to AMC Networks’ Chief Commercial Officer, Kim Kelleher.
Kelleher expressed her enthusiasm for having Luo on board, highlighting her experience and leadership qualities, particularly at Peacock and Hulu, where Luo played a key role in subscriber growth and partnership development. With AMC Networks embracing the momentum and growth in streaming, Luo’s expertise is expected to fast-track their transition to a global streaming and technology-focused content provider.
