Steve Carell’s HBO Comedy and More: Save the Dates with Scott Foley as Pastor

Get ready to mark your calendars! Steve Carell is back with a new comedy series on HBO called “Rooster,” set to debut in March. You can catch it on HBO Max as well. The show follows Carell as an author with a complex relationship with his daughter, played by Charly Clive from “The Lazarus Project.” Bill Lawrence and Matt Tarses, both from “Scrubs,” are co-showrunners, while Carell is also an executive producer. The talented cast includes Danielle Deadwyler, Phil Dunster, John C. McGinley, and Lauren Tsai.

And that’s not all the exciting news on the scheduling front! Scott Foley stars in the family drama “It’s Not Like That,” premiering on January 25 on Prime Video’s Wonder Project. Foley plays Malcolm, a pastor and widowed father of three navigating single life with his friend Lori, played by Erinn Hayes. “My Life Is Murder” is returning for Season 5 on January 5, with Lucy Lawless as investigator Alexa Crowe on Acorn TV.
