Disney Receives 27 Golden Globe Nominations in Film and Television

Disney is dominating the Golden Globe Award® nominations with a whopping 27 nods across various entertainment platforms. From film to television studios and streaming services, Disney is not holding back. Their streaming platforms alone snagged 15 nominations, with Disney+ scoring recognition for the thrilling Lucasfilm’s Andor and the heartwarming Disney and Pixar’s Elio. Hulu also stepped up to the plate, earning nods for Hulu Originals’ Only Murders in the Building, Paradise, and Chad Powers, as well as FX series The Bear and Dying for Sex.

But that’s not all – 20th Television wowed the crowds with 15 nods this season. The series bagged nominations for Only Murders in the Building, Abbott Elementary, Dying for Sex, The Beast in Me, and Nobody Wants This. Lead performances from stars like Sterling K. Brown in Paradise, Disney Legends Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez in Only Murders in the Building, Adam Brody, and Disney Legend Kristen Bell in Nobody Wants This, Matthew Rhys, and Claire Danes in The Beast in Me, along with Michelle Williams in Dying for Sex, and Glen Powell in Chad Powers, were duly recognized for their outstanding work.

The Walt Disney Studios received eight nominations for their works in Andor by Lucasfilm, Avatar: Fire and Ash by 20th Century Studios, Elio by Pixar Animation Studios, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere by 20th Century Studios, The Testament of Ann Lee by Searchlight Pictures, and Zootopia 2 by Walt Disney Animation Studios.

With the winners set to be announced on Sunday, January 11, 2026, the anticipation is mounting. Disney fans everywhere are eagerly awaiting the results to see if their favorite stars and shows will take home the prestigious Golden Globe Awards.
