Fans will be excited to see the return of original cast members Frankie Muniz as Malcolm, Bryan Cranston as Hal, and Jane Kaczmarek as Lois. Additionally, Chris Kennedy Masterson, Justin Berfield, and Emy Coligado will reprise their roles, with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark taking on the role of Dewey. And new cast members Keeley Karsten, Vaughan Murrae, and Kiana Madeira will join the talented ensemble.
A teaser trailer has been released, giving fans a taste of what’s to come by recreating a classic scene with Lois shaving Hal’s back in the kitchen. Originally slated as a Disney+ exclusive, the series is now being rebranded as a Hulu Original as Disney merges Hulu into its streaming platform.
All 151 episodes of the original show are currently available to stream on Hulu or via Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S. and on Disney+ globally. The new limited series will be produced by 20th Television and New Regency, with Linwood Boomer returning as writer and executive producer.
