Zattoo to Manage HBO Max Ad Sales in Switzerland

Zattoo has some exciting news for Swiss viewers – they’ve teamed up with Warner Bros. Discovery to handle advertising sales for HBO Max in Switzerland starting in January 2026. This means that Swiss audiences can look forward to accessing the extensive library of popular series and films on HBO Max.

Matthias Heinze, SVP Commercial & Managing Director at Warner Bros. Discovery Germany, Switzerland & Austria, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “Together with Zattoo, we are bringing our top content from HBO Max to our advertising customers in Switzerland, thereby creating new spaces for first-class product presentations.”

Roger Elsener, CEO of Zattoo, also shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting how it not only strengthens Zattoo’s position in the Swiss advertising market but also boosts the CTV genre overall.

Klaus Nadler, Chief Sales Officer at Zattoo, emphasized the high-quality content on HBO Max and the benefits it will bring to agencies and advertisers in Switzerland. From well-known hits like House of the Dragon to iconic classics like Game of Thrones, HBO Max offers a wide range of captivating content that will now be monetized by Zattoo.

With the launch of HBO Max in Switzerland fast approaching, Goce Nikoloski, who leads international sales, will be spearheading the marketing strategy for this new collaboration. Sales Manager Martin Schlenker and his team will be responsible for the day-to-day operations.

This exciting partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery in Switzerland aligns with the company’s strategy for Germany, where HBO Max is also set to debut in January 2026. In Germany, they have chosen RTL Deutschland’s Ad Alliance as their exclusive advertising sales partner.
