Top 10 On Demand Streaming Services 2025: Ranking and Reviews

Parks Associates recently revealed its annual ranking of the top 10 US SVOD services, based on estimated subscriber numbers up to September 2025.

Topping the list this year is Netflix, followed by Prime Video, a change from last year’s rankings. Hulu secured the third spot, with Disney+ and ESPN+ rounding out the top five.

According to Michael Goodman, Senior Contributing Analyst at Parks Associates, Hulu’s move above Disney+ can be attributed to a strategic distribution approach. He highlighted the importance of partnerships between broadband providers and streaming services in shaping the new entertainment landscape.

Parks Associates reports that around 91% of US internet-connected households are utilizing a streaming service, with 46% opting for free streaming options.

Looking ahead, the potential sale of Warner Bros. Discovery properties could potentially disrupt next year’s rankings. If one of these properties is acquired by a major competitor like Netflix, Disney, or Amazon, it could lead to significant changes in the SVOD landscape.
