Paramount+ to Premiere Dark Comedy-Drama The Revenge Club on December 12

Paramount+ UK & Ireland is gearing up to launch a brand-new dark comedy-drama series called The Revenge Club on December 12th, much to the delight of fans of this genre. Produced by Gaumont, this show brings together humor, drama, heartache, and camaraderie in a unique blend that promises an unforgettable viewing experience.

The story revolves around a group of individuals who come together in a divorce support group. Despite their different backgrounds, they form a tight bond that leads them to hatch a plan for revenge against those who have hurt them emotionally. What starts as a therapeutic exercise soon spirals into a tale of blurred lines between righteousness and madness.

Lead actors Martin Compston and Aimée-Ffion Edwards, known for their work on popular series like Line of Duty and Peaky Blinders, are seen engaging in intense conversations and navigating tricky situations in the first-look images released from the series.

Based on J.D. Pennington’s novel “The Othello Club,” the series adaptation is penned by writer Gabbie Asher, along with Matt Jones and Adam Usden, to ensure a gripping narrative from start to finish.
