Jack White Passes White Stripes Regards as Rock Hall Entry

Jack White shared a touching parable about the origin story of The White Stripes as they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Although Meg White was not present at the event, her presence was deeply felt through the remarks of Iggy Pop and Jack White. Iggy Pop formally inducted the duo, while Jack White accepted the induction on behalf of both of them.

Despite the long-separated duo not reuniting, their legacy was celebrated with performances of White Stripes classics by Twenty One Pilots and the duo of Olivia Rodrigo and Feist. Olivia Rodrigo and Feist performed a moving rendition of “We Are Going to Be Friends,” while Twenty One Pilots recreated “Seven Nation Army” with just bass and drums.
